Lyrissa is an amazing day of coordinator! With her expert knowledge of wedding operations and her calm, professional demeanor, we were able to give her the reins and focus on enjoying our wedding day.

Though we did most of the planning ourselves, Lyrissa’s support was invaluable. During the planning phase, she checked in with me on a monthly basis to make sure we had all of our bases covered, make recommendations, and answer my many questions. She also called us the week of the wedding to discuss last minute details. She drove down to South OC to attend our 30-day walkthrough and led our ceremony rehearsal the day before.

The day of our wedding, Lyrissa and her assistant took care of everything: communicating with vendors, setting up our DIY decorations, ensuring we ate during the reception, getting through our packed agenda with plenty of time for partying, and at the end of the night, packing everything up. When a few hiccups came up, Lyrissa handled them very professionally and dutifully. She dealt with strong personalities with a smile and even drove across Southern California to make sure our marriage license was signed. That’s dedication!

Lyrissa is AMAZING!! She did my wedding in May 2016 and did an outstanding job. I hired her for day of coordinator about a 8 months before my wedding. Planning a wedding and having a budget I wasn’t sure if I could afford a day of coordinator so I went on Craigslist and found Lyrissa. I brought my MOH with me for support. At first Lyrissa was a little shy and quiet, but very professional. She has done her share of weddings and seemed to know what she was doing so I hired her, honestly not knowing what to expect. Lyrissa followed up with me every month to see if I needed anything and how things were going, never missed a month of checking in. I’m the type of person who likes to handle everything on my own, but Lyrissa always reassured me that she was there if I needed anything.  I had my first meeting with her one month before the wedding at my venue to go over my timeline and got all details of the wedding and put it all together for me. Stuff I didn’t know she helped with. The day finally came and she showed up on time ready to work. It was a hectic day and again reassured me everything would be ok. She managed all my vendors on day of and I didn’t have to worry about a thing. She brought her assistant named Bryant, who I have never met before and I now can’t say enough. He helped set up my venue and both of them managed to get everything set up by ceremony time. They both interacted with my guest making sure everyone was good.  After speaking to several of my guests after the wedding, they all asked who the people who had head pieces on were. I replied my coordinator and her assistant. Compliments from everyone how great of a job they did.  Lyrissa managed my timeline perfectly. We were actually ahead of schedule. My now husband who said I was crazy is now eating those words. It was the best investment I made for this wedding. I wish them the best of luck and for all reading this you can’t go wrong hiring them.

Honestly we could not have asked for a better day-of wedding coordinator! Lyrissa never missed a beat! Even in the months leading up to the wedding, she would check in to see how we were doing and that was definitely much appreciated! Lyrissa's knowledge and expertise of the wedding industry really showed during the entire process as she reminded us of several things we forgot about initially! Her kind and friendly demeanor makes her someone incredibly easy to work with! She contacted all our vendors for us regarding the timeline so we wouldn't have to and made sure all our vendors were on time and in place. With her great attention to detail, she set up our reception so beautifully and made sure every little thing and decor we wanted was there and accounted for. She also tried to minimize any distractions during the reception and did all that she could to make sure we were happy. We are immensely grateful for all that Lyrissa did for us at our wedding reception... from setting aside a plate of sushi during cocktail hour to make sure we had something in our stomachs, to keeping us on schedule, to making sure our monetary gifts were secure, to waiting until the night was over so she could load up our Best Man's car with all the decor and gifts, she sincerely went above and beyond!

My (new) wife and I recently got married, and found Ellenar Events online. We knew we wanted a day-of coordinator for our wedding day so that we could really just enjoy the day after a year of wedding planning, and wow are we glad that we got Lyrissa and her team to be our coordinators! Lyrissa gave helpful advice throughout the planning process, and really helped us think through even the smallest details for our wedding day. Whenever we had a question, she was quick to answer. I think we probably took 95% of her advice, even though she made it clear that it was our decision. On the day of the wedding, Lyrissa and her assistant arrived on time, made sure we ate (even while we were taking pictures during cocktail hour!), and was absolutely on top of everything throughout the day and night. We would highly, highly recommend Lyrissa for any sort of event or gathering that you may need a coordinator for, especially if you want someone who is calm, professional, and organized. Amazing.
