About Lyrissa

With over 15 years of experience in the wedding industry, seeing over hundreds of weddings and bustling countless dresses, and 10 years in special events planning, Lyrissa Roman founded Ellenar Events in August 2014 on the foundation of "excellence in motion." Her passion in detailed events began when she realized her ability to maintain poise and composure, while remaining friendly and energetic in a demanding environment and never losing sight of the details.  Lyrissa loves LOVE and is inspired by witnessing a couple enjoying their first day of their new beginning. Through this inspiration, she promises to deliver only the best and reaching above and beyond what is expected of her. She is your guide and protector to ensure your ideas and vision are everything you hoped it would be and more. Lyrissa earned her bachelor's of science in Communications, option in Public Relations at California Polytechnic State University, Pomona. She has been an experienced on-site wedding coordinator with a leading catering company in South Orange County, while planning nonprofit galas and golf tournaments. She is currently involved with planning and coordinating meetings and conferences at Stanford University.
